Outpatient Services
Gadsden Regional Medical Center provides outpatient care services in a designated Outpatient Care Center located on the second floor of the hospital. The center offers diagnostic testing and surgery to patients on a same-day, outpatient basis.
Services include:
- Day surgery - Patients are admitted and discharged in the same day.
- Early morning admissions - Patients having day surgery can be admitted in the early morning hours prior to their procedure.
- Endoscopy laboratory - The laboratory is designed for patients who require diagnostic testing concerning the digestive tract through the use of fiberoptic scopes to view and treat disorders of the esophagus, stomach and intestine.
- Pre-admission testing - Services are provided for patients who require testing prior to admission or surgery.
