Patients & Visitors
Current Visitor Guidelines
Effective November 19, 2020
Gadsden Regional Medical Center is not allowing visitors to COVID med/surg areas, CCU, MICU, SICU or behavioral health areas in order to minimize exposure risks for our patients, visitors and employees. Gadsden Regional Medical Center will allow one designated care companion to support the compassionate care of patients in med/surg areas, women & children's, the emergency department and outpatient surgery. Any visitor must meet the screening criteria prior to entry and follow all outlined guidelines. Further restrictions or allowances may exist depending on the circumstance.
Please contact the hospital at (256) 494-4000 or the appropriate clinic with further questions.
At Gadsden Regional Medical Center, we understand that coming to the hospital as a patient or as a loved one's support person can be a difficult, often overwhelming experience. Whether you’re preparing for a hospital stay or stopping by to see friends and family, knowing where to go and what to bring will help make your visit less stressful. To make your experience easier, we want to provide you with helpful information you may need to plan your visit, such as what to expect, parking instructions, transportation and more.
