To be considered, you must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma and undergo a background check and drug/tuberculosis screening.
The Gadsden Regional Medical Center Volunteers have an annual scholarship established to benefit students in our community who are pursuing degrees in the medical field.
The scholarships will be awarded to students in the amount of $500 per semester (fall/spring) for the 2018-2019 academic year. Fields of study include, but are not limited to: nursing, phlebotomy, and radiologic technology.
Preference will be given to students from Etowah County who demonstrate financial need.
