February 18, 2010 - Sharon Haynes, M.D., has recently joined Clay Rowe, M.D., at Etowah Family Practice, formerly the Rowe Clinic.
Members of the community will have an opportunity to meet Dr. Haynes and Dr. Rowe Saturday, February 27 at an Open House from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Etowah Family Practice on Rainbow Drive. Free cholesterol, blood pressure and visual screenings will be offered during the Open House.
Dr. Haynes is board-certified in family medicine is now accepting patients.
Dr. Haynes received her Doctor of Medicine Degree from University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. She did post-doctorate training at The Medical Center Hospital in the Family Practice Residency. She comes to the Gadsden area from West Georgia Family Medicine and she brings 15 years of experience as a primary care physician.
Dr. Haynes is committed to helping her patients enjoy a healthier life. Having had gastric bypass surgery herself, Dr. Haynes has a unique understanding of the special needs and concerns patients have before and after having this surgery.
Dr. Rowe has served the people of Gadsden and the surrounding community as a primary care physician for a number of years, following in the footsteps of his father, Stephen Rowe, M.D., and grandfather, Mercer Rowe, M.D. There has been a Dr. Rowe practicing medicine in the Gadsden area since 1928.
Both Dr. Haynes and Dr. Rowe are now accepting patients and look forward to seeing you February 27.
