Go Red for Women 2010

Feb. 8, 2010 – More than 500 people – most of them women, dressed in red – attended Gadsden Regional Medical Center’s Go Red for Women 2010 last Thursday, Feb. 4. They shared dinner, fellowship, fashion and door prizes and they learned about heart disease, particularly heart disease among women, from keynote speaker Dr. Bryan McGwier, a Gadsden cardiologist.

This sixth annual event again raised money for the American Heart Association, as well as raising awareness of heart disease in the community.

A number of local businesses donated door prizes and some hosted vendor tables during the event at Center Stage. Belk’s, Jireh’s and Caiston Elle provided fashions for a show featuring a number of local models.
