February 19, 2010 – Gadsden Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that effective March 1, 2010, the former Goodyear Medical Clinic, most recently known as TakeCare Health Clinic, will join the Gadsden Regional family.

Gadsden Family Practice, as the clinic will then be known, will continue to provide primary health care for the people of Gadsden and the surrounding community.

“Gadsden Family Practice is a welcomed addition to Gadsden Regional’s network of primary care physicians and offices,” GRMC CEO Stephen Pennington said. “I’m also proud to announce that Sathyan Iyer, M.D., will continue to see patients at the Practice as he joins the staff at GRMC.”

Patients may call the new clinic number at 256-413-6000 to find out more information or to schedule an appointment. Office hours will remain Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
